The Rolls-Royce Ghost introduction was at the IAA Frankfurt in September 2009. There the British showed what their mini-Phantom (well, he is still 5.40 meters long) was capable of. Thanks to the 6.6 V12 with 570 hp and generous torque (780 Nm at 1500 rpm), the Rolls accelerates to 100 km/h in five seconds with the aid of an eight speed automatic gearbox. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h. The standard air suspension ensures unprecedented stability and comfort. It is also possible to temporarily increase or decrease ground clearance by 25 mm, for easy entry or with speedbumps. In addition, the engineers have developed an even more silent cockpit. The first cars were delivered in the United Kingdom and Europe in the same year.
This Ghost was delivered in the Netherlands in 2010 and equipped with almost every option available at the time. The large panoramic roof makes it bright and light inside the Rolls, even with the black leather interior. Due to the black body color, the Ghost looks sporty, while it is of course an outstanding vehicle for cruising or to be the passenger with a private driver at the wheel. That is why this car is also very luxurious in the rear with heated and ventilated seats that are electrically adjustable, folding tables and tv screens so you can watch a movie or do some work. Naturally, the front seats are just as comfortable with the same adjustment options, heating and ventilation. The view over that long bonnet with the 'Spirit of Ecstacy' at the front remains something special and unique, every time you look at it. That will never be boring!
