This Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is an incredible track-focused special, which offers a compelling blend of blistering outright pace, high-grade lightweight materials, and a luxuriously trimmed cabin.
There are few contemporary cars that deliver a greater sense of occasion than a naturally aspirated V12 Aston, and this particular limited-edition (#93 of only 100 units worldwide) brute boasts even more theatre - both in its looks and its raw performance.
An exceptionally rare and bespoke British supercar, this GT12 would make a remarkable addition to any collection.
Satin-finished exposed carbon fibre is used extensively throughout the cabin, with large panels used for the complete door cards, as well as the transmission tunnel cover and the entire centre console moulding, which gives the GT12’s cabin a truly exotic and bespoke ambience.
Factory-fitted equipment includes electric adjustment for the seats, including memory settings on both sides, as well as climate control, cruise control, and the 700W Aston Martin Premium Sound system.
In the cabin, the lightweight exposed carbon fibre bucket seats are trimmed in Pure Black Alcantara, accented by Californian Poppy stitching along the bolsters, as well as for the embroidered ‘GT12’ motif on the headrests. The dashboard is covered with swatches of Pure Black Alcantara, as is the headlining.
There are further flashes of Californian Poppy, e.g. the inner surface of the leather door pulls.
Its bodywork presents in superb condition, with no accident damage, and with factory shut lines and panel gaps throughout. The car features extensive carbon-fibre around the exterior, including for the front splitter, grille surround, aerodynamic side sill extensions, the characteristic U-shaped bonnet vent panel, the rear diffuser, and the rear wing.
Furthermore, the front wings and the bonnet are also fabricated from the lightweight composite to shed even more kilograms.
This Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is the sensational swansong for the previous generation Vantage model, boasting engaging dynamics with a riotous soundtrack. Under the bonnet is a snarling 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12, producing 604PS, driving the rear wheels through the seven-speed Sportshift III single-clutch gearbox with paddle shift.
The odometer shows just 345 kilometres (delivery mileage) from new!
Driving the GT12 for Evo magazine at its launch, journalist Richard Meaden said it was “exuberant and addictive”, adding: “The engine is a force of nature blessed with a voice from the Gods. Sharp and smooth, with a voracious appetite for revs, floor the throttle in each gear and it punches you forwards with undiminished vigour”.
