The Porsche 918 Spyder was first shown as a concept at the 80th Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. Production began in September 2013, with deliveries starting in December 2013. The 918 Spyder was sold out in December 2014 and production ended in June 2015. It is the second plug-in hybrid car manufactured by Porsche, after the 2014 Panamera S E-Hybrid. The 918 Spyder is set to be replaced by the Porsche Mission X, which was presented in June 2023 and is scheduled for production in 2025.
