To celebrate the victory of the Formula 1 Constructors World Championship title in 2008, this car bears the name Scuderia Spider 16M. Powered by an 8-cylinder rear engine, the Scuderia Spider 16M combines the innovative features of the 430 Scuderia with the pleasure of open-top driving offered by the F430 Spider. The car is a limited edition of only 499 units intended for the most passionate fans of the brand, who appreciate its exclusivity. The Scuderia Spider 16M is part of the 8-cylinder center-rear engine models. The car has a special badge on the rear grill, with which the 16th F1 constructors title of the Scuderia Ferrari is shown. The exclusive interior is underlined by a silver "Limited Series" badge above the air outlets in the center of the dashboard. Other exclusive features include a carbon-fiber roll bar and a state-of-the-art audio system that can be connected to the dock directly in front of the dashboard with a detachable, custom Ferrari iPod Touch 16GB. The car has a dry weight of 1,340 kg (80 kg lighter than the F430 Spider). This, combined with the V8 engine's 510 hp and its specific 2.6 kg / hp output, means that the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in a staggering 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h reached. The Scuderia Spider 16M feels at home on the track as well as in normal traffic. Since it is an open vehicle version, the Spider is also a vehicle for leisure and occasions, where it depends mainly on the driving pleasure. The Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M has a rear-wheel drive and a sequential 6-speed transmission. One of the special features of the Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M is the fine tuning of the chassis. This can be done by the driver directly over the steering wheel while driving. The adjustment is made possible by the use of an electronically controlled differential, which is also called "E-Diff". The necessary switches are mounted directly on the steering wheel and are called "Manettino", the Italian name for handset. This is a very precise vote of the driving style on the wishes of the user possible.
The vehicle offered here was delivered in April 2009 to its first and to date only owner in Slovenia. He also had excellent contacts with Maranello because of his field of business, since he was the owner of the company Avto Triglav D.O.O, general importer for Ferrari, Alfa-Romeo and Maserati in Slovenia, with several branches. For reasons we are not familiar with, the car was almost never moved, but spent almost all of its life in the collection of its owner. And so the mileage of the speedometer shows today only 480 kilometers. After the purchase through Mechatronik, the 16M went through our routine 100 points check, which was completed without any complaints except for the obsolete tires. In particular, attention was paid to possible storage damage, which however luckily did not appear.
