It was at the Paris Motor Show in 2010 that Ferrari debuted the Ferrari 599 SA Aperta. This extremely limited production model was created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Pininfarina. Honoring the designers Sergio and Andrea the “SA” designation was chosen with “Aperta” signifying the open top. For the 80th anniversary, Ferrari decided to produce only 80 examples making it one of the most limited production models ever made. As beautiful as this vehicle is, Ferrari wanted there to be no mistaking that this would be at the pinnacle in terms of performance of all that they had produced. And to that end, the same 6.0 Liter V12 engine from the 599 GTO was selected as the power plant. This coupled with a modified exhaust from the 599XX and a removable top and you truly have one of the finest sports cars Ferrari has ever built.
