Overview about this Pininfarina Battista:
The Pininfarina Battista is an all-electric hypercar produced by Automobili Pininfarina, a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group. It was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show and is named after Pininfarina's founder, Battista "Pinin" Farina. The Battista is the most powerful car ever designed and built in Italy, with a maximum power output of 1,900 horsepower and 2,300 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under two seconds, making it faster than a current Formula 1 car. The Battista's 120 kWh battery powers four electric motors (one per wheel) and offers a simulated WLTP range of over 500 km on one charge. Only 150 Battistas will be individually handcrafted in the Pininfarina SpA atelier in Cambiano, Italy.

Heritage (Impact and Legacy):
The Pininfarina Battista is a tribute to the company's founder, Battista "Pinin" Farina, and is the first car to be solely badged as a Pininfarina. The Battista represents a new direction for the company, which has traditionally been a design and engineering consultancy for other automakers.
