The 488 Pista Spider is the last in a long line of track-focused mid-engine V8 Ferrari supercar convertibles, following in the footsteps of some of Ferrari's greatest modern machines: the 430 Scuderia 16M, 458 Speciale Aperta, and finally, the pinnacle of performance that is the 488 Pista Spider. This model encompasses all of the experience built up on the world’s circuits through Ferrari's racing endeavors with the 488 Challenge and the 488 GTE. The twin-turbocharged 3.9L V8 is capable of producing 711 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque. Weighing in at 3,053 lbs, this lightweight mechanical masterpiece can reach 62 mph from a standstill in 2.9 seconds. The aerodynamics were carefully crafted for performance, and the result is a staggering 529 lbs of downforce at 124 mph, while still powering forward to a top speed of 211 mph.
