Maserati MC12 - One of Only 50 Ever Built - Pristine Factory Condition with Minimal Mileage - Just 230 KM Since Delivery - The Ultimate Modern-Day Maserati for Collectors - Fully Ready for Action
The Maserati MC12 offered here is likely the example with the world's lowest recorded mileage, only 230 kilometers since its delivery in 2005. This delivery took place on March 10, 2005, by Loris Kessel Auto SA, located in Grancia, near Lugano, in the Italian part of Switzerland. The original owner, who resided just a few kilometers away in Lugano, added the car to their private collection, never driving it. It wasn't until 2014, after over nine years in the original owner's possession, that the first change of ownership occurred, still with a factory mileage of only 169 KM.
Subsequently, the vehicle was transported via airfreight to Tokyo, Japan, where it arrived in November 2014. Even at that time, an MC12 with factory mileage was nearly impossible to find, so it's no surprise that the new owner had no intention of driving the car but rather stored it in their collection. Approximately four years later, our MC12 changed hands again, this time in Hong Kong, where it arrived in August 2016, in the possession of a renowned collector.
In October 2018, the owner entrusted the MC12 to Auto Italia, the Maserati experts in Hong Kong, for a comprehensive service to ensure that the car remained fully operational. At the time of this service on October 4, 2018, the mileage was 179 kilometers. After seven years in the ownership of the collector in Hong Kong, the car returned to Europe in the spring of 2023, finally reaching our company, where it underwent thorough technical inspection.
Remarkably, despite over 18 years, the car shows no signs of storage-related damage, even though it was driven no further than 230 kilometers. The original tires from the day of the MC12's delivery are still mounted. We are delighted to offer this MC12, an ultimate time capsule from 2005. Considering the price appreciation of vehicles like the Mercedes CLK GTR, Porsche GT1, or McLaren F1, it becomes evident that the MC12 holds significant potential in terms of value, particularly with such low mileage.
