Ultimate Series development
Unveiled online in December 2017, the Senna joined McLaren’s Ultimate Series. Its MonoCage III carbon structure develops the 720S architecture, with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo M840TR V8 and rear-wheel drive.
Aerodynamic control
The large adjustable rear wing also acts as an air brake. A double-element rear diffuser, roof intake and front aerodynamic elements manage downforce and cooling, with hydraulic RaceActive Chassis Control II supporting the chassis.
Production and GTR distinction
McLaren hand-built 500 road-going Sennas at Woking, with deliveries beginning in 2018. The track-only GTR has a separate production series, wider bodywork and revised aerodynamic and suspension specifications.
