Overview:
Ferrari renews its V12 coupe with almost unchanged proportions compared to the 812. The 12Cilindri now reaches its maximum power beyond 9000 rpm. Ferrari models now follow cycles of similar length to any ordinary car. About seven years after the release of the 812 Superfast, which itself followed the F12, the Italian manufacturer unveils the 12Cilindri at the Miami F1 Grand Prix. And for once, Ferrari is making a double debut by unveiling both the "berlinetta" coupe and the Spyder convertible, which will both be marketed at the same time. Maranello is not idle. Neither are the engineers, who are finding it increasingly difficult to achieve feats with each generation change with an atmospheric engine that shows its limits more "easily" than a supercharged block.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance:
This vaillant V12, which dates back to the Enzo years, is carried over with lightened mobile equipment to reach higher speeds: titanium connecting rods and new pistons in a special alloy. The aim is to reduce the inertia of the masses since the 6.5 V12 now reaches its maximum power of 830 horsepower at 9500 rpm. The maximum torque is 678 Nm. It is now connected to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, a small novelty since the 812 only had seven. Finally, note that this very long GT coupe (4.73 meters) claims only a little more than 1500 kg empty. A feat, given the engine and general performance.

The interior of the Ferrari 12Cilindri is a blend of luxury and sportiness. The cabin is wrapped in leather and Alcantara, with carbon fiber accents throughout. The seats are comfortable and supportive, providing ample legroom and headroom for both driver and passenger.
