Front-mid V8 layout

The Roma places its 3,855 cc twin-turbo F154 BH V8 ahead of the cabin, with drive sent to the rear wheels. The engine uses dry-sump lubrication and water-cooled turbochargers with air-to-air intercoolers.

Eight-speed transaxle

An 8-speed dual-clutch transaxle combines an electronic differential with a mechanical reverse gear. The latter differs from the electric reverse arrangement in the SF90, despite the two cars sharing the transmission’s basic generation.

Design and body styles

The Roma’s flush handles and restrained surfaces recall the 250 GT Lusso and 250 GT 2+2. Its active rear spoiler rises from the body at speed. The Spider, introduced in 2023, uses a fabric folding roof rather than a retractable metal hardtop.
