Production architecture
Lamborghini unveiled the production Urus at Sant’Agata Bolognese in December 2017. It uses the MLB Evo platform and a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, replacing the 5.2-liter V10 proposed for the 2012 concept.
Performante chassis
Introduced in 2022, the Urus Performante replaces the standard model’s height-adjustable air springs with fixed-height coil springs. Its revised bodywork and suspension distinguish it mechanically from the Urus S, beyond their shared 666 PS engine rating.
SE hybrid system
The Urus SE, revealed in April 2024, combines a revised twin-turbo V8 with an electric motor integrated into the 8-speed automatic transmission. Its 25.9 kWh battery and plug-in system are specific to the SE branch.
