Morgan Plus 8 for sale

In 2026, specialist dealers advertise the Plus 8 in 1 European country: 1 in Germany. Availability changes as cars are sold, and the physical location of a car matters more than the currency its price is quoted in.

Listings are advertised with the margin scheme, under which VAT is not shown separately. Whether VAT can be reclaimed depends on the status of the buyer and the seller, the invoicing method, whether the car counts as new or used for tax purposes, and the country where it will be registered. The selling dealer states the basis on each listing and should confirm it before purchase.

A gross price includes VAT and is what a private buyer pays in the country of sale. A net export price excludes VAT and is available only to buyers who can substantiate an intra-community or export supply, typically a VAT-registered business. Two Plus 8 listings can look far apart on price and be close once put on the same basis, so compare like with like before drawing a conclusion.

Yes, and it is common for this kind of car. The buyer needs the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, and an invoice stating the VAT treatment. Temporary export plates, transport and insurance are arranged with the selling dealer, and registration taxes fall due in the destination country rather than the country of sale.

Ask the selling dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners, any accident history and the warranty position: LuxuryPulse does not publish these and cannot confirm them. Arrange an inspection, by an independent inspector or a marque specialist when buying from abroad, and confirm the VAT basis and the delivered cost before committing funds.

Compare model year, mileage, factory specification, colour, condition, the VAT basis of the price and the country of sale, and put every price on the same basis and in the same currency first. A price advertised net of VAT for export is not the price a private buyer pays, and the advertised figure is never the total cost once transport, registration and national taxes are added.
