630 PS

Engine

the 5,980 cc M279 V12, twin-turbocharged

Performance

630 PS (463 kW) and 1,000 Nm, in a vehicle standing on portal axles

Chassis

Portal axles put the wheel hub below the axle shaft rather than in line with it, which lifts the whole vehicle by around forty centimetres and gives the G 650 a ground clearance of nearly half a metre. Above the rear seats, a fabric roof folds back as on a pre-war state car.
