The BRABUS BODO is a limited-production Gran Turismo Coupe created as a tribute to Bodo Buschmann, founder of BRABUS. Built around the idea of a large, powerful, elegant and unmistakably BRABUS coupe, the BODO transforms a long-standing vision into a highly exclusive coachbuilt model.
Production is limited to 77 units worldwide, a direct reference to 1977, the year BRABUS was founded in Bottrop, Germany. Annual production is restricted to 10 to 15 vehicles, reinforcing the model’s rarity and collector relevance.
Design & Exterior about this BRABUS BODO for sale
The BRABUS BODO is built around a full carbon-fibre body, excluding the windows and fixed panoramic glass roof. Its design combines a low Gran Turismo silhouette, a long coupe profile and a strong aerodynamic package developed for stability at very high speed.
The front end features LED matrix headlights, a BRABUS grille with 13 vertical slats, integrated RAM-AIR ducts, optimized air intakes and a high-gloss exposed-carbon front spoiler. At the rear, the car receives an exposed-carbon diffuser, vertically stacked titanium tailpipes and an electrically deployable two-stage rear spoiler, which can also act as an air brake under heavy braking above 140 km/h.
A “77” heritage emblem below the rear window connects the car directly to the founding year of BRABUS.

At the heart of the BRABUS BODO is a hand-built 5.2-litre V12 biturbo engine producing 735 kW / 1,000 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque. The engine features a BRABUS high-performance turbo system with a RAM-AIR airbox, efficient intercooling and two specially developed turbochargers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission with torque converter. Manual control is available via carbon-fibre BRABUS paddle shifters, while the electronic differential can provide up to 100 percent locking capability.
Performance figures place the BODO firmly in hyper-GT territory: 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 8.5 seconds, 0-300 km/h in 23.9 seconds, and an electronically limited top speed of 360 km/h / 224 mph.

The chassis combines a double wishbone front setup with a multi-link rear axle. The driver can select from GT, Sport, Sport+, Wet and Individual driving modes. A front and rear axle lift system raises the car by approximately 25 mm, returning automatically to normal ride height above 45 km/h.
Stopping power is provided by carbon-ceramic composite brake discs, internally ventilated and perforated, with 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers.
