Ford's 1938 Tudor was the 2-door body of its prewar range, and this example has been rebuilt as a high-end hot rod by Wadsons Hot Rods. Sherwood Motorcars offers it in its classics collection in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The seller describes the build as a high-end restoration and lists a 496 big-block V8, an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Ford's original flathead V8 has given way to that big block, which sits under the hood with polished intake and valve covers in the photographs; the dealer does not publish a power figure, and none is quoted here. Air suspension lets the car sit low over polished 5-spoke wheels. The body is finished in a deep burgundy metallic, read from the photographs since the seller does not state a colour. The cabin is trimmed in tan with matching carpet and headliner, cream-faced gauges, a modern touchscreen audio unit, digital climate controls and power-adjustable front seats. The trunk is finished in the same tan, with a pair of fitted burgundy cases. The odometer shows 5,429 km.
