This 1974 BMW 3.0 CSL was imported into Austria in 1984. Its modifications include an M88 four-valve engine based on the M1 unit, a 5-speed Getrag sports gearbox, an oil-cooled limited-slip differential, Alpina suspension and Recaro interior trim.

The E9 coupes were built by Karmann in Rheine from 1968 to 1975. The 3.0 CSL was developed with Alpina as a lightweight motorsport homologation model.
