Introduced in 1988 to mark the first 25 years of Lamborghini, the Countach 25th Anniversary was the final evolution of the wedge that Marcello Gandini drew at Bertone. A young Horacio Pagani reworked the bodywork with new air intakes, revised side strakes and a reshaped rear, while the mid-mounted 5,167 cc quattrovalvole V12 and 5-speed manual gearbox carried over from the 5000 QV. Production ran until 1990 and ended with 658 cars, the last Countach built. This 1989 example is a Downdraft car, the name collectors give to the versions fed by six downdraft Weber carburetors rather than fuel injection. The listing quotes 455 hp at 7,000 rpm and a factory top speed of about 183 mph. The odometer reads 19,355 km, about 12,027 miles. The photographs show red paint over a cream leather cabin with red carpets, the deep front spoiler, the reshaped side intakes and the large rear air boxes of the anniversary series. It is offered by Curated, a collector car specialist in Miami, Florida, United States, with the price available on request.
