Overview of this 1990 Mercedes-Benz C 11 used for sale

The 1990 Mercedes-Benz C 11 is a racing car produced by the Swiss and German Team Sauber Mercedes. It was built for the World Sportscar Championship, which it won in 1990. The C 11 is powered by a Mercedes-Benz M119 5.0L V8 engine and was the first car to bear the Mercedes-Benz name in its designation. Despite winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1989 with the C9, the team did not participate in the race in 1990 as it was not part of the World Sportscar Championship.

The C 11 is powered by a Mercedes-Benz M119 5.0L V8 engine, which produces 730 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque. The engine is mounted in a longitudinal central rear position and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The C 11 has a top speed of 400 km/h and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds.

The C 11 is considered one of the most successful Group C racing cars of all time, with a total of 4 pole positions and 4 race wins in just 4 races. It is also one of only 6 C 11 models ever produced. The C 11 was replaced by the Mercedes-Benz C291 in 1991, but it remains a significant and car in the history of endurance racing.
