Finished White | Black over Red | Black leather, it is a fully engineered GEMBALLA conversion of the 997-generation 911 Turbo. Power comes from a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six tuned to 650 hp , integrated with GEMBALLA’s aero and chassis package. Key highlights for the Avalanche GTR 650 include extensive carbon-aero, recalibrated boost control, upgraded induction and exhaust hardware, ceramic-equipped braking, and GEMBALLA’s hallmark interior craftsmanship. Reference examples and period data for the Avalanche GTR 650 / EVO-R document outputs of 650 hp, 0–100 km/h in the low-3-second range, and top speeds beyond 330 km/h.
The Porsche 911 Turbo Gemballa Avalanche GTR 650 was unveiled during the model’s presentation at the Geneva Motor Show , in March 2006. Built on the 997 platform, the Avalanche programme evolved into the GTR 650 / EVO-R series with reworked twin-turbo hardware, bespoke aerodynamics and interior, and limited-volume, client-specified builds from GEMBALLA’s Leonberg facility. Contemporary factory and media material for the 2006–2009 period records 650 hp, 0–100 km/h around 3.4 s, and a vmax of ~332–335 km/h depending on specification.
Under the rear deck sits Porsche’s 3.6-litre, twin-turbo flat-six tuned by GEMBALLA to 650 hp and up to ≈950 Nm (EVO-R reference). Modifications include revised turbochargers, induction and intercoolers, camshaft and cylinder-head work, and a free-flow exhaust. Period figures cite 0–100 km/h ≈ 3.4 s , 0–200 km/h ≈ 11.2 s , and top speed ≈ 332–335 km/h , with all-wheel drive traction and uprated brakes and suspension ensuring consistency. As with most GEMBALLA builds, individual cars may vary slightly by customer spec and year.
