Overview of this 2010 SLR McLaren Stirling Moss used for sale

This Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss is presented in Crystal Antimony Grey Metallic with a Silver Arrow Black Leather interior.

Built as a tribute to Sir Stirling Moss and his victory in the 1955 Mille Miglia, the SLR Stirling Moss features a radical open-cockpit design with no roof or windscreen, paying homage to the Silver Arrows racing tradition. It is powered by a 5.4-litre supercharged V8 , producing 650 hp and 820 Nm of torque , coupled to an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.

This example stands out with its fully black interior configuration, a rare specification seen in only a handful of the 75 units built worldwide. It includes carbon fibre interior and exterior elements, silver alloy wheels with matching calipers, and an Alcantara/leather steering wheel. As one of the most exclusive Mercedes-Benz and McLaren collaborations, it represents both heritage and rarity in modern automotive history.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss was unveiled at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Designed as a limited-edition speedster, it was inspired by the 300 SLR driven by Stirling Moss in the 1955 Mille Miglia. Developed jointly by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren, it was produced as a roofless, windshield-free tribute to motorsport, with only 75 units built.

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss is powered by a 5.4-litre, supercharged V8 engine, delivering 650 hp and 820 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h is achieved in 3.5 seconds , with a top speed of approximately 350 km/h. The car’s open design reduces weight, while the AMG-developed powertrain combines with advanced aerodynamics and carbon fibre construction for maximum responsiveness and driving purity.
