The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series was unveiled during its official presentation at the German Grand Prix at Nürburgring on July 21, 2011. Based on the C-Class Coupé platform, the Black Series was engineered by Mercedes-AMG as a limited-production track-oriented model. Its body featured flared arches, revised aerodynamics, and lightweight construction, while the interior emphasized driver engagement. Only a few hundred units were produced, making it one of AMG’s most exclusive creations.

The car is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V8 (M156) , tuned to deliver 510 hp at 6,800 rpm and 620 Nm of torque at 5,200 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 7-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission. Performance figures include a 0–100 km/h time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 300 km/h. Key enhancements over the standard C63 AMG included wider tracks, adjustable coil-over suspension, and upgraded braking systems.
