Model background · BRABUS G 63, PowerXtra B40-700

PowerXtra module

For the 4.0-liter G 63, PowerXtra B40-700 is a processor-controlled auxiliary module connected to the factory engine management. BRABUS rates this conversion at 515 kW / 700 PS and 950 Nm, compared with 430 kW / 585 PS and 850 Nm in the donor G 63.

700 and 800 conversions

The B40-700 module conversion is distinct from the B40S-800 turbocharger upgrade. WIDESTAR bodywork and cabin retrimming are separate choices, so a wide-body name alone does not establish an 800 PS engine conversion.
