Underneath sits the LaFerrari carbon fibre monocoque drawn by Rory Byrne, with double wishbones at the front and a multi-link rear.

Research program

The FXX-K derives from LaFerrari for Ferrari's circuit research-and-development program. The K refers to its kinetic energy recovery system; it was developed outside a conventional competition championship.

Evo aerodynamic package

Unveiled at the 2017 Finali Mondiali, Evo revised the front bodywork, underfloor diffusers and rear wing. Ferrari reported 23% more downforce than the original FXX-K, and offered the package for existing FXX-K cars.
