Competition-derived V8: Introduced at Geneva in March 2018, the Pista develops the 488’s 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 with titanium connecting rods, strengthened pistons, revised camshafts and Inconel exhaust manifolds derived from the 488 Challenge program.
Pista calibration: The Pista road engine is rated at 720 PS, compared with 670 PS for the 488 GTB and Spider. Ferrari also revised the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission calibration and aerodynamic surfaces for this derivative.
Piloti specification: The Pista Piloti personalization program combines competition-inspired stripes and graphics with Alcantara interior details. Piloti is a distinct configuration of the Pista; the Challenge and GTE are separate competition cars.
