Overview of this 2021 Rolls-Royce Dawn used for sale

Some have described the Dawn as the most beautiful car that Rolls Royce has ever made, and we tend to agree. The car's bodywork is 70% new in comparison to the Wraith, on which it is based, and the only exterior parts carried over from the Wraith include the doors and grille surround. Rolls Royce say the Dawn will be as quiet as the Wraith with the roof up and will in fact be the quietest convertible on the market. Beneath the hood lies a 6.6 litre V12 twin-turbo engine, offering seemingly infinite reserves of power and torque. With such a purposeful presence, the Dawn dares you to discover this car’s full potential with the promise of a truly effortless drive.

Platform lineage
The Dawn is based on the Ghost platform, shared with the Wraith. It replaced the Phantom Drophead Coupe as the marque's open-top model, but it does not use that car's Phantom VII platform.
Body development
Rolls-Royce stated that 80% of the Dawn's body panels were new compared with the Wraith. Andreas Thurner directed the exterior design, with Charles Coldham responsible for the interior.
Production and drivetrain
Production ran at Goodwood from 2015 to 2023. The front-mounted 6,592 cc twin-turbocharged V12 drives the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
