The Countach LPI 800-4 revives Lamborghini’s 1970s design icon, blending the wedge silhouette and scissor doors with modern carbon fibre construction and hybrid technology. The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 was unveiled during Monterey Car Week in Pebble Beach, on August 13, 2021 , as a modern tribute to the original Countach of 1971. Built on the Aventador platform and enhanced with Sián hybrid technology, it combines a V12 engine with supercapacitor-based electric assistance. With production capped at 112 units , the model celebrates the original Countach’s internal project code LP112 while signalling the end of Lamborghini’s pure V12 era.

The Countach LPI 800-4 pairs a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 (780 hp) with a 48V electric motor integrated into the 7-speed ISR gearbox. Combined output reaches 802 hp , channelled through Lamborghini’s all-wheel drive system. Performance benchmarks include 0–100 km/h in 2.8 s , 0–200 km/h in 8.6 s , and a top speed of 355 km/h (220 mph). Braking is managed by carbon-ceramic discs, and suspension features push-rod adaptive dampers derived from the Aventador SVJ.
