GT origins: The Continental GT entered production at Crewe in 2003. The original coupe paired a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 with permanent four-wheel drive; the GTC convertible followed in 2006. This GT program is separate from the earlier Continental R and T.
Third-generation engineering: Production of the 3rd Generation began in 2018. Its MSB platform is shared with the 2nd Generation Panamera, and the body uses superformed aluminum panels. The generation introduced an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a longer wheelbase.
