The SP3's name recalls Ferrari's first three places at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona. Its body references the 330 P3/4 and 412 P prototypes, with horizontal rear blades and a wraparound windscreen.

V12 architecture

The F140 HC is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 mounted behind the seats. Unlike LaFerrari, the SP3 has no hybrid assistance; its powertrain uses a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive.

Cockpit and structure

The carbon-fiber structure derives from the LaFerrari Aperta chassis. The roof panel is removable, the seats are incorporated into the chassis, and the pedal box adjusts to the driver.

Aerodynamic development

Ferrari developed the SP3 around passive aerodynamic surfaces rather than movable wings. Airflow through the front bodywork and the rear diffuser contributes downforce without an active rear spoiler.
