Koenigsegg designed the Gemera as a 4-seat Mega GT, with room for four adults and four carry-on cases. The manufacturer plans a 300-car series.
Powertrain evolution
The original proposal used the Freevalve 3-cylinder hybrid concept. The later production specification moved to a Hot-Vee twin-turbo V8, a Dark Matter electric motor and the 9-speed Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission.
Current factory specification
The HV8 and Dark Matter system is rated by Koenigsegg at 2,300 hp and 2,750 Nm. This is a later development of the programme, distinct from the early 3-cylinder configuration.
