Model background · Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, third generation

Third-generation V12

The new Vanquish Volante was announced in March 2025. Its front-mid-mounted 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 develops 835 PS and 1,000 Nm; this is a different engine from the naturally aspirated V12 in the 2012-generation Vanquish.

Structure and driveline

A bonded aluminum structure supports carbon-fiber body panels. The ZF 8-speed automatic drives the rear wheels through an electronically controlled differential, with a carbon-fiber propeller shaft inside an alloy torque tube.

K-fold roof

The fabric K-fold roof uses eight layers of insulation. It opens in 14 seconds and closes in 16 seconds, with operation possible at speeds up to 50 km/h.
