About the AC Cobra 427 S/C

Kirkham Motorsports, of Provo in Utah, builds aluminium-bodied Cobras on its own tubular frames with coil-spring suspension, after the 1965 427 cars. During the continuation period Shelby contracted Kirkham to supply rolling body and chassis units.

The original 427 S/C, for semi-competition, was one of the 31 unsold competition Cobras that Shelby fitted with windscreens and road-going 427 engines, and it is now among the most valuable Cobras.
