About the BAC Mono R

The car is a single-seater: a tubular steel safety cell to FIA rollover standards, forty-four bespoke carbon parts, graphene-enhanced carbon in every body panel and rose-jointed pushrod suspension. The dry weight is 555 kg, which puts the power-to-weight ratio at 618 bhp per tonne.

Briggs Automotive Company was founded in Liverpool in 2009 by the brothers Neill and Ian Briggs, and builds only the Mono, a road-legal single-seater. The R, launched in July 2019, is its lightened version.
