About the Koenigsegg Agera

The monocoque, the body and the wheels are carbon fibre, the roof detaches and stows under the front lid, and the doors open on the marque's dihedral synchro-helix hinge. Koenigsegg makes almost everything in house at Ängelholm, on a former air force base: the engine, the gearbox, the carbon body and the wheels, which are hollow carbon fibre and the first of their kind on a road car.

Koenigsegg showed the Agera at Geneva in 2010 and built the line at Ängelholm, in Sweden, until 2018, in fewer than two hundred cars all versions counted. The name means « to act » in Swedish.
