About the Land Rover Defender 110 Classic

The structure is a box-section steel ladder chassis carrying an aluminium body, with live axles on coil springs at both ends. The 110 is the long wheelbase, 2,794 mm, and the Station Wagon body seats up to nine.

The Defender name was given in 1990 to the Land Rover Ninety and One Ten of 1983, themselves the coil-sprung successors to the Series III. Production at Solihull ran until January 2016, the shape barely changed since 1948.
