About the McLaren Speedtail

The structure is a MonoCage II carbon fibre monocoque with aluminium subframes front and rear, the layout rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. The driver sits in the centre with a passenger on each side, as in the F1, the front wheels are covered by carbon fairings, and electrochromic glass replaces the sun visors. McLaren built 106, and the car reaches 403 km/h in Velocity mode.

McLaren Automotive has built every road car on a carbon fibre tub since the MP4-12C of 2011, and splits its range into the Sports Series, the Super Series and the Ultimate Series. The LT badge, revived from the F1 GTR Longtail, marks the lightened and shorter-geared versions.
