About the Porsche 911 Turbo S

The Turbo S is the fully equipped reading of the Turbo: larger turbochargers, more power and the options list fitted as standard. It first appeared on the 993 in 1997, as a run of 183 cars carrying 24 PS more than the Turbo, and has headed every Turbo range since.

The Turbo line itself goes back to 1975 and the 930. Porsche has built the 911 without interruption since September 1964.
