About the Tesla Model X

Its body panels are unpainted 300-series stainless steel, laser-cut and bent rather than stamped. Steering is by wire, the rear wheels turn up to 10 degrees, and the Cyberbeast rides on self-levelling air suspension. It weighs 3,130 kg, tows up to 4,990 kg and covers 484 to 515 km on the EPA cycle.

Tesla showed the Cybertruck as a concept in November 2019 and has built it at Gigafactory Texas in Austin since November 2023. The three-motor Cyberbeast, announced at the delivery event that month, tops the range.
