This 1963 Ford F-250 keeps the look of a working farm truck, with its real, weathered patina and original glass, but very little of its original running gear. Both front and rear subframes, complete with suspension, drivetrain and brakes, were taken from a 2015 Mustang GT Roush Phase 2 with 44,739 miles and fabricated into the original F-250 frame. Under the hood sits the Roush supercharged 5.0-liter V8, which the dealer rates at 727 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque, detuned for everyday reliability. It is mounted low to keep the stock ride height and drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic. Electric power steering, QA1 adjustable rear suspension, an Eibach anti-roll kit and the large Mustang GT brakes handle the extra performance, and the custom wheels are left uncoated to match the patina. The build list includes a Ron Francis fuse box, Dennis Carpenter wiring, Vintage Air, aluminum radiators with dual electric fans, a fender-well cold air intake, a 28-gallon aluminum tank, Dakota Digital gauges and a Corsa exhaust with remote cut-outs. Inside are custom seats, a fully insulated cab and an Ididit column with a wood wheel. The odometer shows 1,047 miles. Fusion Luxury Motors offers it in Chatsworth, California.
