The Sting Ray coupe of 1963 to 1967 introduced the 2nd Generation Corvette, with independent rear suspension and hidden headlights. The 1964 model year dropped the split rear window of the 1963 car in favor of a single large pane, which owners now call the Big Window coupe. This 1964 example is finished in Riverside Red over a refreshed black interior. It has had restoration work and a series of mechanical and cosmetic updates over the years; the seller describes the repaint as presenting well, with some minor imperfections, and presents the car as a driver rather than a concours restoration. Under the hood is a 350-cubic-inch Chevrolet small-block V8 with an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, a Holley 600 cfm carburetor with electric choke and MSD electronic ignition, driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual. The seller does not quote an output for this engine. Upgrades include power steering, power front disc brakes, an aluminum radiator, Vintage Air conditioning, a new console pad, new weatherstripping and a Custom AutoSound radio with auxiliary input. It rides on knock-off replica wheels with BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radials, and the sale includes the owner's manual, spare keys and service invoices. Earth MotorCars sells its classics as miles exempt. The car is at its showroom in Carrollton, Texas.
