About the Bentley Turbo R

The R stands for roadholding: firmer damping, stiffer anti-roll bars and wider tyres set it apart from the Mulsanne Turbo. For the 1989 model year it gained twin round headlamps and a larger front spoiler. For 1987 it also received slimmer sports seats and a longer rear-axle ratio.

Bentley built the Turbo R at Crewe from 1985, 5,864 cars in its original form before the New Turbo R.
