About the BMW M5 Touring (G99)

The G99 Touring, shown on 15 August 2024, is the first M5 estate since the E61. It shares the plug-in hybrid drive of the G90 saloon, and M xDrive keeps a rear-wheel-drive mode. An 18.6 kWh battery in the floor gives up to 67 km of electric range under WLTP, and the Touring weighs 2,475 kg.

Top speed is limited to 250 km/h, or 305 km/h with the M Driver's Package. BMW builds the G60 5 Series family at Dingolfing.
