About the Lamborghini Islero

Carrozzeria Marazzi built the 2+2 body over a tubular steel frame, with double-wishbone suspension and disc brakes all round. It was meant as the conservative alternative to the Espada, in the line of the 400 GT it replaced.

Shown at Geneva in 1968 alongside the Espada, the Islero was built at Sant'Agata Bolognese until 1969, 225 cars including the later S.
