About the Maserati MC20

The structure is a carbon fibre monocoque made by Dallara with aluminium subframes, double wishbones at both ends and a dry weight of 1,500 kg. The doors are hinged at the front and open upwards, the Nettuno was Maserati's first own engine since the MC12, and the name recalls the Maserati Corse racing programme.

Maserati was founded in Bologna in 1914 and has been based at Modena since 1940. The MC20 was the first car since the MC12 to carry an engine of Maserati's own design, built at the Modena plant where the car itself is assembled.
