About the Mercedes-AMG SL 65 Black Series

AMG took the folding metal roof out and replaced it with a fixed carbon one, which removed the mechanism, the motors and about a hundred and twenty kilograms, and turned a convertible into a coupé. The bodywork is carbon fibre and the track is widened at both ends.

AMG built 350 of them in 2008 and 2009 at Affalterbach. It is the most powerful Black Series ever made, and the only one with twelve cylinders.
