The Aperta includes a removable hard-top single piece roof and in order to make this possible there were several structural changes that Ferrari had to make to the car from the Coupe version. This included changing the aerodynamic flow of the car as well as new wing mirrors and a new door design amongst other changes. Amazingly Ferrari have managed to maintain the exact same performance of the coupe and in doing so created it's first convertible halo car since the Ferrari F50.
