About the Aston Martin DB6

The DB6 lengthens the DB5 wheelbase by 95 mm and closes the tail with a Kamm spoiler, on a platform chassis with a de Dion rear axle located by radius arms and a Watt linkage. The longer wheelbase gave usable rear seats, and Aston Martin built 1,788 DB6 of all bodies between 1965 and 1971.

Aston Martin built its cars at Newport Pagnell from 1955 to 2007, where the DB4, DB5 and DB6 were bodied by the Superleggera method licensed from Touring of Milan: a tubular frame clothed in hand-beaten aluminium.
