Aston Martin V12 Vanquish for sale

Ian Callum drew it with the DB4 GT Zagato in mind, over a bonded aluminium chassis with a carbon fibre backbone developed with Lotus; it has 355 mm drilled, ventilated discs with four-piston callipers, and came in 2+0 or 2+2 form.

It succeeded the Virage-based cars as Aston Martin's flagship and grew out of the Project Vantage concept shown in Detroit in January 1998. Unveiled at the 2001 Geneva show, it was the last all-new model built at Newport Pagnell, and gave way to the more powerful Vanquish S in 2004.
