About the Ferrari 812 Competizione A

The A stands for Aperta. It is the targa-roofed reading of the Competizione, and the rarer of the two: Ferrari announced 599 of them against 999 coupés, and both were spoken for before delivery.

The 812 took over from the F12berlinetta in 2017 and gave way to the 12Cilindri in 2024. It is among the last of Ferrari's naturally aspirated front V12 road cars. Ferrari has built its cars at Maranello since 1943 and casts its own engines on site.
