About the Ferrari Monza SP1

The SP1 is the single-seater: the driver sits on the left under a carbon-fibre body with no windscreen, where a fairing ahead of the cockpit lifts the airflow over the head, Ferrari's patented Virtual Windshield. It weighs 1,500 kg dry, 20 kg less than the SP2. Small scissor doors open the cockpit, and a large one-piece clamshell bonnet covers the front of the car.

Unveiled at Maranello in September 2018, the Monza SP1 and SP2 opened Ferrari's Icona series after the 750 Monza and 166 MM barchettas. Ferrari built 499 of the two together from 2019 to 2022, and the SP1 won the 2020 Compasso d'Oro.
